Mission
TO REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS AND TO PROVIDE THEM SERVICES WHICH ENHANCE THE EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY OF CITY AND TOWN SERVICES THROUGH TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, INFORMATION SHARING AND TRAINING.

- TESTIMONY IS GIVEN BEFORE LEGISLATURE & COMMITTEES TO EXPLAIN THE IMPACT UPON CITIES & TOWNS. THE LEAGUE REPRESENTS LOCAL INTERESTS ON NUMEROUS BOARDS, AGENCIES, COUNCILS AND COMMISSIONS WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO STUDY, MONITOR OR REGULATE GOVERNMENT ACTIVITY. IN ADDITION, THE LEAGUE ASSISTS MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS AND ITS MEMBERS IN FULFULLING THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES BY PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, SHARING INFORMATION, AND CONDUCTING TRAINING.Expenses $770,315 · revenue $936,256
