PROVIDE EDUCATION, TRAINING AND ADVOCACY SERVICES TO THE PROVIDERS OF MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION TREATMENT SERVICES IN THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS.
Program accomplishments
- THE ASSOCIATION FOR BEHAVIORAL FOUNDATION (ABHF) PROVIDES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING SERVICES TO COMMUNITY PROVIDERS OF MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT AND RECOVERY SERVICES IN MASSACHUSETTS. THE PROVIDERS ARE THE PRIMARY DELIVERERS OF PUBLICLY FUNDED BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES IN THE COMMONWEALTH, SERVING APPROXIMATELY 81,000 MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENTS DAILY, 1.5 MILLION RESIDENTS ANNUALLY, AND EMPLOYING OVER 46,500 PEOPLE.
