Mission

Enables both small rural and large urban communities to manage their own recycling programs.

990 for the year ended September 30, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Cooperative purchasing and marketing programs which allow members to take advantage of bulk buying power by accessing markets/pricing that collectively, with other NH Recycles members, are more favorable than they would achieve individually. They also have the ability to ship less than full-truckloads of recyclables at full-load pricing by combining their materials with other members on the same truck, thereby eliminating the need to store large amounts of material on their sites.
    Expenses $7,215,093 · revenue $7,402,508
  • Educational programs to train and educate recycling coordinators, facility attendants, and volunteers. It offers an annual recycling education conference and also provides education through a variety of interactive training sessions/workshops, as well as assistance in setting up and facilitating cost-effective recycling programs. The association also distributes a regular educational newsletter to members.
    Expenses $299,167 · revenue $89,687
