TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR CONSTRUCTION EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES IN A MANNER THAT IS COMPLETELY CHARITABLE AND BENEVOLENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPROPRIATE MAINE CHARITABLE CORPORATION STATUTES; TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OR IN THE FURTHERANCE OF EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES; TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP AID FOR STUDENTS; TO UNDERTAKE EDUCATIONAL STUDIES AND PUBLISH THE RESULTS THEREOF; TO CARRY OUT THE MISSION OF ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS OF MAINE INC., AS AUTHORIZED IN THE BYLAWS OF THE ASSOCIATION.

- AGC OF MAINE EDUCATION FOUNDATION CREATED A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO HELP MEET THE NEEDS OF MAINE RESIDENTS PURSUING CAREERS IN CONSTRUCTION. THE FOUNDATION 1) RAISES PUBLIC AWARENESS OF CONSTRUCTION CAREERS, 2) OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS TO MAINE RESIDENTS ATTENDING A MAINE POST-SECONDARY INSTITUTE, AND 3) ACTS AS A RESOURCE FOR EDUCATORS AND DECISION-MAKERS ON TECHNICAL TRAINING AND CONSTRUCTION EDUCATION.Expenses $61,347 · grants $57,500
