- Go to app.990.tax/auth/sign-in, or choose Sign in at the top of any 990.tax page.
- Enter the email you signed up with and your password.
- You land on your organizations and returns.
If it does not work
- Wrong password, or never set one: choose Forgot password?; see Forgot your password.
- “Too many attempts. Please wait 15 minutes and try again.” Sign-in pauses after 5 wrong tries for one account in 15 minutes. Waiting 15 minutes clears it.
- Not sure which email you used: search your inbox for mail from 990.tax. If you still cannot find it, email [email protected] with the organization’s name and EIN.
Signing out
Open the menu at the top right (your email address; on a phone, the gear icon) and choose Sign out. Changing your password also signs out your other browsers and devices.
Questions
It says “Too many attempts”. What now?
After 5 wrong passwords for one account within 15 minutes, sign-in pauses. Wait 15 minutes and try again, or reset your password with “Forgot password?”.
I never chose a password.
Accounts made at sign-up get a password you were not shown. Use “Forgot password?” to set your own.
