The first meetings were held either virtually or at AAO 2025 in Orlando, Fl. Educational ventures - The education committee continued the following courses: 1. Virtual Fellows Uveitis Course, led by Natasha Kesav, Akshay Thomas, Rachel Patel, Maura Di Nicola, Paulina Liberman, and Arjun Sood. Topics included: Surgical considerations in uveitis, Management of pediatric uveitis and uveitis in pregnancy, Landmark studies in uveitis. 2. Virtual Journal Club, led by Kareem Moussa and Jennifer Lee. Papers reviewed included: ADJUST trial and "Efficacy of Subcutaneous and Intravenous Tocilizumab in Noninfectious Uveitis"3. Collaborated with AAO Update on Uveitis Webinar (Chris Henry, Jennifer Lee, Brian Do). The topic: Local therapies for uveitis (speakers: Kareem Moussa, Arjun Sood, Jessica Weinstein, and Marez Megalla) Communications (Natasha Kesav) - Expanded our membership and social media engagement on YUS Twitter and Instagram, generating significant international and local interest in YUS activities. - Participated in YoungMD connect events, a networking event to increase our specialties visibility YO representative (Akshay Mentreddy) - Presented cases at Real World Ophthalmology (RWO), network and raise uveitis speciality visibility- Wrote an article for Young Ophthalmology (YO Info) on the AAO website "From Creepy to Clear: Tips to Help YOs From Fearing Uveitis."
