Members of our organization from the US are involved as volunteers overseeing the educational activities the recipient engages in Armenia, and are also participating in the conferences/workshops held abroad. Expense reports are presented to the Executive Director for approval, and then impact statements are reviewed by the Executive Board. Part III Line 4d Travel reimbursement for scholars - Activity Code: 0 Grants Amount: 0 Expense Amount: 13900 Revenue Amount: 0 Part I Line 1 To help raise Armenia's educational and research institutions to world-class levels, and to network them with US institutions and globally. To contribute to the development of a modern, sophisticated, and internationally networked civil society in Armenia with cultural and educational networking with the US. Part VI Line 6 The organization is a network of scholars and experts called Fellows and Friends of the Society. There is no membership fee, admission is through nomination by current members and the Board. Part VI Line 7a The members of the organization elect 2 to 4 members of the Executive Board every year. Part VI Line 11b The tax forms are presented to the Executive Board by the Executive Director and are approved by the Board before filing. Part VI Line 19 All relevant documents are disclosed publicly on the organizations website. In addition, all members receive an annual disclosure via email. Part XII Line 2c The Executive Board reviews and approves the financials. Part III 4a The amount corresponds to do grants for educational activities: $100,000 to Yerevan State University for a workshop and research program on AI $149,000 to Advanced Research in Computational Sciences and AI for classes in mathematics and engineering delivered free of charge to all students Part III 4b Expenses for two conferences: $17,735 for a conference at USC in Los Angeles on science and education $17,000 for a conference of the members held in Armenia focused on science, the humanities, and education Part III 4c These operational expenses include electronic database, website, and logistical expenses of running the organization Part III 4d This is travel reimbursement for scholars traveling to Armenia to teach and collaborate in research Part V 11a This amount are donations collected from members of the organization. The organization does not have membership fees but members are encouraged to donate if they can.
