It is one of the backward villages in the district, and the people are crippled by a lot of issues, caste, discrimination, exploitation, lack of good schools, very low literacy levels, lack of job opportunities, lack of public transport to name a few. Payir to undertake the following activities to bring some progress to this village. A dedicated set of Print, AV Health material, with necessary equipment, community notice boards. Sustained campaign on the topic of Alcoholism along with a fund for DeAddiction treatment. Enable better education like a learning center of excellence, a space for children and young adults. Part I, Line 10 RSTC Operations Provide safe living space, nutritious food, and bridge learning programs for 40 children. These children are from difficult backgrounds such as single or separated parents, physical or mental abuse, child labor. The kids in our RSTC center are educated part of Payir school. We also engage them with life skill activities like proper discipline, behavioral education, kitchen gardening, Yoga, Karate, basic vocational training, and many other activities which help them in normal life skills. 20 of our Alumni students are in Higher Secondary Schools, Colleges and Payir is supporting their education in full. Part I, Line 10 Healthcare Activities at Payirs Holistic Well-being Centre, healthcare goes beyond treatment. It is about preventive care, early intervention, knowledge sharing and overall well-being. The center provides an integrated approach blending Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Yoga, Siddha, and Allopathy through referrals and telemedicine. The center provides accessible, community based attentive care, complementing Payirs broader and deeper community healthcare initiatives. Our Community Health Workers monitor patient well-being, support mothers through antenatal and postnatal care, and ensure children receive the nourishment and medical guidance they need. More than just caregivers, these workers educate, enable, advocate and act as catalysts in transforming healthcare into a deeply trusted community experience. The School Health Educators visit government and aided schools, conducting weekly classes for students from grades 1 to 9. These sessions aim to raise awareness about health practices, encourage nutritious diets, teach basic first aid, and provide knowledge about the human body.
