This is due to a restricted fund that is held and administered by the Outer Banks Community Foundation OBCF on OBX Room in the Inns behalf which is reported on the OBCFs Form 990 as per the agreement with them. Instead of including it in the OBX Room in the Inns financials they have variance power over the fund and can make decisions regarding its usage which makes the money donated to the fund their direct asset. It also clarifies a few other administrative entries to the board listings and updates the principal officer. Additionally it adjusts program expenses after the breakout of administrative salaries by percentage to account for program management and fundraising job functions. Part VI, Line 4 The organization changed from a Calendar Year Budget to a Fiscal Year Budget. The 2024 990 is being filed for a calendar year. The 2025 990 for January 1 2025 - June 30 2025. Beginning July 1 2025 the organization is on a July 1 to June 30 Fiscal Year Budget.
