During the 2024 filing period the organization experienced administrative transitions and relied on outside assistance for compliance matters. As a result of an oversight and miscommunication regarding filing responsibilities the Form 990-EZ for the 2024 tax year was not filed by the original due date. Upon becoming aware of the missed filing the organization took immediate corrective action to compile complete and accurate financial records and to file the return as promptly as possible. Fightstory Inc. has not previously failed to file required annual returns and has acted in good faith to maintain compliance with IRS reporting obligations. The organization has since implemented improved internal controls and calendaring procedures to ensure timely filings going forward.
