By moving to accrual accounting, we are following an industry best practice as recommended by the American Institute of CPAs. Form 990, Part XII, Line 2c The board treasurer and, to a greater extent than the previous year, the staff executive director worked with the CPA firm to facilitate its review of our FY 2025 finances. After receiving a draft review from the CPA, the treasurer sent the draft to all board members for inspection before the organization agreed with the CPA to finalize the review.
