Additionally, a focus on mentoring/coaching and special events to address critical community issues involving our youth that gets to the root cause of the challenges youth face including school dropout, lack of youth mentoring, gang violence, unemployment, financial education, health and wellness, self-improvement, and positive youth development. Food Distribution Program - Served as a food distribution hub for the community. We served over 105,000 individuals this past year. 63161 63161 Leaders in Committed Action (LICA) - This is an 8 week training program for teens and teens after the completion of the program served at some level in community agencies. We had over 50 teens participate in the program. 20000 20000 Ashton Langford Basketball Program - This is a five week program for teens to help them not only learn how to play basketball, but to also learn leadership skills, teamwork, cooperation, and opportunity to develop their interpersonal skills. Form 990-EZ, Part II, Line 24 2022 Isuzu NQR gas w/ 16' Box & Ramp and Commercial Freezer The late filing was due to reasonable cause and not willful neglect. At the time the return was due, we were working to have a financial audit completed so that the Form 990 could be filed accurately. However, the accounting agency we had been using went out of business, which required us to locate a new provider. The replacement providers we contacted quoted fees that exceeded the funds available to the organization at that time. This financial difficulty was compounded by a substantial reduction in funding, including cuts to federal aid affecting nonprofit organizations. As a result, we experienced a financial shortfall and were unable to immediately secure and pay for the audit services needed to complete the filing.
