The Association uses vendors located in the region to help organize the conference, along with local volunteers. 10378 0 0 10378 0 0 0 0 0 0 Schedule F, Part I, Line 2 The Association's journal, Management & Organization Review, issues an annual Best Paper Award. The award is chosen by the journal's senior editors through a rigorous evaluation process. The award recipients sometimes are foreign scholars located outside the US. Additionally, the Association periodically provides research grants to doctoral students to support their dissertations. The grant recipients are selected by a committee of senior scholars. Some recipients may be located outside the US. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 The Association has global academic members, mainly doctoral students and faculty members in higher education institutions. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a The Association conducts officer and board member elections every two years. All paid members are eligible to vote for officers and board members. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b As governed by its bylaws, association members can vote on a series of decisions regarding the association, such as changes to the bylaws, election of officers, etc. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The President reviewed Form 990 and all appendices prepared by the Treasurer before submission. The Treasurer also presented key Form 990 figures to all Executive Committee members. In addition, the treasurer presents key financial information that the Association revealed in Form 990 to all board members in its annual board meeting, which happens in August after the filing of Form 990. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The Association has an ethics committee and an official Code of Ethics that governs the behavior of officers and board members. The Codes of Ethics are published on the Association's Official website and were adopted after member voting. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 All officers and executive committee members are volunteers who receive no compensation from the Association. The executive committee jointly determined the pay of external contractors. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The organization published its governing documents and conflict of interest policy on its website. Historical financial information and tax return documents are available in the Association's shared drive for executive committee members. The financial statements are available to the public upon request.
