Records are kept of the calls and how the requests are fulfilled. A Damascus Help caseworker helps the person in need to see if they qualify for a cash grant. The Financial Assistance Committee members discuss the qualifications for the type of grant needed and make a decision according to the guidelines. Records are kept of the procedures to accomplish the grant.
