We do so by helping with various initiatives undertaken by Rising Sun Education and Welfare Society in Pakistan. These include providing special children with education & training facilities to enhance their capabilities and rehabilitate them in the society, providing medical, psycho-educational, speech & language assessment and therapy services to Children with Special Needs enrolled at Rising Sun Institute or referred by different specialists & professionals and human Resource Development for teaching and training of Rising Sun and other similar institutions. It costs 1000 USD per year to sponsor a child enrolled at Rising Sun Institute in Pakistan. Through our fundraising efforts, we were able to collect funds to fully sponsor 80 students. The student body consists of around 800 students and covering the costs of 80 of them is a huge achievement we are very proud of. 80000 0 The Rising Sun Institute also operates a workshop which provides employment opportunities to those with disabilities. This workshop also has a kitchen. Food prepared in this kitchen is sold to various local businesses and offices. This provides employment to those with disabilities.
