<MissionDesc>Motivated by the inherent worth of each individual and our great care for the people of Haiti, the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation works side by side with the people of Saint Rock and the surrounding rural communities to enhance their lives through providing quality primary health care; helping children and young adults access valuable education opportunities; instituting community outreach programs that support economic sustainability; investing in infrastructure to support overall health; and empowering members of the community to advocate for their rights in the future. We recognize that through our ongoing collaboration with the Haitian government and non-governmental organizations, we will support the shared goal of greater self-sufficiency. Our vision: the vision of the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation is a community in which each person can thrive in all aspects of life and create similar opportunities for other Haitians to thrive.</MissionDesc>

<Desc>Haiti has been plunged into a catastrophic humanitarian emergency, driven by extreme, territorial armed group violence that has led to a near-total collapse of governance and essential services. This crisis is marked by spiraling food insecurity, the mass displacement of over a million people, widespread loss of employment, the closure of hundreds of schools, and pervasive mental health trauma. As of late 2025, an estimated 6 million Haitians - more than half the population - are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, a significant escalation from the prior year. More than 5.7 million people are currently facing high levels of acute food insecurity (IPC Phase 3 or worse). Only a fraction of the country's hospitals remain fully functional, making access to health care increasingly precarious. Despite these unprecedented challenges, The Saint Rock Haiti Foundation (SRHF) has remained steadfast in its commitment to providing critical, life-saving health services, operating two of the few fully functional health care centers in the region: Saint Rock and Macaco. SRHF serves over 100,000 registered patients and, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, continues to offer essential services such as school feeding programs, vaccinations, family planning, and HIV screening and treatment, acting as a vital anchor for the health and well-being of the surrounding community.SRHF began a new MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) project and added a dedicated MEAL officer to manage implementation. MEAL is a structured approach nonprofits use to track their impact, measure success, and continuously improve their programs. All of SRHF's programs will receive extensive review. The first two programs to be evaluated are education and health care. Much of the work began with documenting the data flows and components of each program and establishing clear roles and responsibilities of the staff. The MEAL system will help SRHF remain adaptable, addressing challenges, and improving strategies based on data. All staff members were involved in the project and will be trained in new methods and technology. An additional phase will continue the work in the following year.Medical services remain the most extensive program at SRHF. Due to many hospitals and health centers closing in Haiti, the availability of SRHF's health care services is more critical than ever. The number of registered patients rose from 70,000 to 100,000 patients, a more than 40% increase. Implementation of the MEAL program will help with the significant increase in demand by implementing a new electronic medical record system for our two health centers, replacing paper records. SHRF also trained 57 clinic staff to enhance data collection and utilization in the new MEAL program tools. During this period, SRHF hired a dentist. Through a grant from the Catholic Health Foundation, SRHF launched a school nurse program, the first of its kind in the area, with five nurses providing health services to over 900 students. The program is aimed at addressing minor injuries, illnesses, and mental health concerns in educational settings. Education remains an important aspect of SRHF's integrated approach. SRHF continues to pay the salaries of teachers in five primary schools. Construction was completed at the Chretienne Grace Surabondante (ICGS), and the school is being prepared for 215 students to enter in the Fall of 2025. 30 indirect jobs were created from working on the project, providing jobs to local residents. Tuition assistance was provided to 76 students through university and vocational scholarships, bringing the total beneficiaries to 180. Sixteen students graduated, bringing the program's total graduates to 104.</Desc>

<ExplanationTxt>The Foundation is exempt from federal and state income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Accordingly, there is no provision for income taxes within the financial statements. However, income from activities not directly related to the Foundation's tax-exempt purpose would be subject to taxation as unrelated business income. Tax-exempt organizations could be required to record an obligation for income taxes as the result of a tax position they have historically taken on various tax exposure items, including unrelated business income or tax status. In accordance with U.S. GAAP, assets and liabilities are established for uncertain tax positions taken or positions expected to be taken in income tax returns when such positions are judged to not meet the "more-likely-than-not" threshold, based upon the technical merits of the position. The Foundation has evaluated the positions taken on its filed tax returns and has concluded no uncertain income tax positions exist at June 30, 2025.</ExplanationTxt>

<ExplanationTxt>Saint Rock Haiti Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to enhancing and promoting care for the people of Haiti. The Foundation works side by side with the people of Saint Rock and the surrounding rural communities to enhance their lives through: - Providing quality primary health care. - Helping children and young adults access valuable educational opportunities. - Instituting community outreach programs that support economic sustainability. - Investing in infrastructure to support overall health; and - Empowering members of the community to advocate for their rights in the future. Given the nature of the Foundation's operations, it is difficult to gauge exactly how many individuals received benefits or services from the Foundation's money transfers into Haiti. However, based on the Organization's best estimates and the information, the Foundation measures that: - Over 1000 children received access to primary school education regardless of their family's ability to pay nominal tuition, and graduates have access to university or vocational scholarships. - Approximately 100,000 registered patients have received access to healthcare through Saint Rock Haiti Foundation's efforts. - The Foundation provides funding that supports or fully covers the income of over fifty local staff in Haiti. Operating out of two healthcare clinics, these individuals deliver essential, direct health and care services to their communities. - The Foundation has funded the construction of a school campus in Haiti that will provide an appropriate learning environment for children who were previously in an overcrowded building that was not conducive to learning. - Water assistance and infrastructure projects have given communities access to clean drinking water that was previously unavailable. After the replacement of the water pump, more than 3000 families continue to experience the benefit of clean water. - Microfinance initiatives boost 40 local women's ability to support themselves and their communities, independent of the Foundation or other third-party outside parties. In total, the Organization made expenditures of over 630,646 towards program services in Haiti during its year ending June 2025. Of this total, $58,000 was for direct grants paid to Haitian students for tuition at university and trade schools, and another approximately $56,000 was for other child sponsorship programs. Aside from transfers to Haitian bank accounts that are necessary for the Foundation to conduct its program services, the Foundation does not otherwise hold any interests in foreign corporations, partnerships, or business interests. Accordingly, all questions on this Schedule F, Part IV have been answered "no."</ExplanationTxt>

        <FormAndLineReferenceDesc>Form 990, Schedule G, Part I, Fundraising Consultants:</FormAndLineReferenceDesc>
<ExplanationTxt>During the period covered by this Form 990 tax return, the Organization engaged M3 Fundraising to provide development and fundraising consulting services. M3 was hired to provide donor market research and to assist the Organization in developing its donor cultivation programs and capacity. However, the actual donation revenue raised during this tax year from those donors was not directly attributed to M3 Fundraising's efforts, but rather to a combination of staff and consultant efforts. Accordingly, while the Organization considers the services M3 provided to be value-added and to improve the Organization's overall fundraising abilities, $0 has been reported on this Form 990, Schedule G, Part I, for "gross receipts" attributed to M3 Fundraising's services during this tax year. Additionally, during the period covered by this Form 990 tax return, the Organization engaged Tasha Bracken Events ("Bracken") to help manage and coordinate the Organization's annual fundraising gala. The gala overall raised $584,452 in gross receipts, composed of both ticket and event income as well as donations. At the time of filing this Form 990, the Organization is unable to determine what exact amount of funds raised from the gala can be directly attributed to Bracken. However, due to Bracken's level of involvement and participation with the gala, the entire $584,452 raised through the event has been reported on this Form 990, Schedule G, Part I, as "gross receipts raised" from Bracken's professional fundraising services. For transparency purposes, the Organization wishes to note that, while Bracken was integral to the successful development and implementation of the gala, the total gross receipts raised through the event came from a combination of Bracken's efforts, as well as time and energy invested by the Organization's staff, Board, and other volunteers.</ExplanationTxt>

        <FormAndLineReferenceDesc>Form 990, Schedule G, Part II, Fundraising Events:</FormAndLineReferenceDesc>
<ExplanationTxt>During the period covered by this Form 990, the Organization held one fundraising event. For this event, the large majority of revenues came in the form of donations, gifts, and sponsorships. In accordance with IRS Form 990 and Schedule G Instructions, contributions and donations received through fundraising events are not included within the reported events' net income on Form 990, Part VIII, Line 8c; or on Form 990, Schedule G, Part II, Line 11. Accordingly, while this Form 990 and Schedule G report a "net loss" from the event of approximately $29,000, this is only because this loss figure does not include the donations received pursuant to these fundraising events and activities. Additionally, the event expenses reported on this Schedule G, Part II, does not include fees paid to professional fundraisers reported on this Schedule G, Part I, who were otherwise still involved in the active management and coordination of the event. Accordingly, when including the donations and contributions received through the events, as well as deducting the fees paid to the event management consultants, the actual net income from the Organization's annual gala for this tax year exceeded $500,000.</ExplanationTxt>
