Form 990, Part VIII, Line 1g On December 31, 2024 the Columbia Falls Kids Foundation received a contribution from Mick and Wendy Ruis of an old school building. The building was built in 1940 and is in need of repairs and updating. The 40,000 square foot building sits on 2.75 acres and was appraised by James Williamson of Sage Appraisals as of 11/18/2024 with a value of 4,760,000. The Columbia Falls Kids Foundation was formed to manage the building for the purpose of re-purposing the building to provide affordable space for youth oriented non-profit organizations to conduct their objectives. The Columbia Falls Kids Foundation raises funds to renovate the building, install safety and security systems, make repairs and maintain the building and grounds. We are 100 volunteer driven and no officer or director receives any type of compensation. We currently house four youth oriented non-profit organizations and we provide the space to them at a rate of 1 per year plus proportional overhead, utilities and maintenance costs. The building currently houses a Boys Girls Club, a non-profit daycare facility, a wrestling academy and Land to Hand, an organization that ensures affordable access to local and nutritious food for seniors, school children and families with limited means.
