Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 8 Other Revenue $9,379 is the collection of COVID relief funds paid this year to the organization Open Door Immigration Services beginning in fiscal year 7/1/23 through 1/1/2025 has gone through many organizational and staffing changes. This includes recruiting a new Board Treasurer and other Board members. New bylaws have been adopted (which are included as an attachment) and new policies and procedures put in place. As a result of all of this intense activity, we were not aware of the current tax filing not being made. As soon as this was discovered, we have worked to to produce this filing. It was initially mailed in 11/24/25 and then we received the returned documents 1/3/26. We were not aware that we could not mail them but had to file. We are now doing so. We respectfully request that the IRS not charge us any late fees or fines. We are a volunteer led organization which works hard to meet all of our legal and ethical requirements. We have put in place procedures to ensure this does not happen again. Thank you for your consideration of all of this.
