For over 76 years our motto has been "service above self". Our main projects for the 2025-2026 fiscal year were: 1. Hope on the Vine which includes silent and live auctions that raised $40,000. Money was allocated out to a variety of local charities (for example: local library, Arbor day activities for elementary school children, local non-profit theater, breakfast with Santa, etc.) 2. Pancake Breakfast. Money raised was donated to local American Legion Post for their Memorial Day Parade. 3. Pedals for Progress - bicycles and sewing machines are collected (along with shipping donations) to ship items to third world countries. The recipients are able to ride to work or school or start a home-based business with the sewing machines. Beyond the above, Newtown Rotary also participates/helps/donates to an annual Golf Outing for a non-profit elder care facility; Angel Tree (gifts for underprivileged children); Breakfast with Santa (struggling families); twice a year food drive for a local food pantry; Easter Egg Hunt for community members; donate to help eradicate polio throughout the world and a twice a year highway clean up. We help wherever and whenever a need arises, to the best of our ability.
