The organization is subject to a tax on income from any unrelated business income. There was no unrelated business income for the year ended September 30, 2018. Financial Accounting Standards Board Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) Section 740, Income Taxes, requires extensive disclosures about uncertain tax positions. The requirements of this Standard are applicable to nonprofit organizations. The organization evaluates any uncertain tax positions using the provisions of ASC 450, Contingencies. Accordingly, a loss contingency is recognized when it is probable that a liability has been incurred as of the date of the financial statements and the loss can be reasonably estimated. The amount recognized is subject to estimate and Management's judgment with respect to the likely outcome of each uncertain tax position. The organization does not believe that it has engaged in any situation that would result in an uncertain tax position. As a result, Management does not believe that any uncertain tax positions currently exist and, therefore, no loss contingency has been recognized in the accompanying financial statements. Currently, the organization has no open examinations with either the Internal Revenue Service or state taxing authorities. The organization's policy is to record any income tax related penalties and interest incurred as General and Administrative expense. There are no income tax related penalties and interest included in the accompanying financial statements. Goals are established and approved by the Board of Directors on a fiscal year basis. Schedule J, Part I, Line 6 Executive Director receives incentive bonuses contingent on a mixture of net earnings and performance goals. Performance goals are measured with revenue generation metrics, as well as non-monetary metrics. Goals are established and approved by the Board of Directors on a fiscal year basis. All of the highest paid employees listed receive an equally distributed company performance bonus based on total net income for the fiscal year. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a A person who meets the qualification requirements to be a Director and who has been duly nominated, may be elected as a Director during any Board meeting by vote of the existing Directors. Officers shall be elected at the end of each fiscal year by the Board of Directors. An officer shall hold office until a successor is qualified and elected. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Each Director is given a complete copy of Form 990. If the Director has any questions or concerns, it can be addressed to the other Directors and the Executive Director. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Annually, all Directors are required to complete a Conflict of Interest Statement. If any problem arises as a result, the Board of Directors meet to resolve the problem. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The Executive Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors approves Executive Director and Director of Finance and Administration salaries annually and reviews all salaries and compensation of the organization. Late due to unforeseen circumstances but request waiver of penalties because history returns have been timely for last 3 years.
