Applicants must be 16 years or older, have a goal of developing employment readiness skills, and not have access to funding through either Missouri Department of Mental Health, or Vocational Rehabilitation. Parentscaregivers of the applicant must complete the 12 hour Parent to Parent mentoring program. Eligible candidates submit an online application form, as well as attest their understanding of the terms of the scholarship. Applications are reviewed by the board of directors on an as needed basis. Scholarships are awarded at a fixed rate of $5,000 which provides roughly 60 hours of pre-vocational and career planning services to awardees. All documentation in maintained by the Exec.
