Services included assistance with SSI, SSDI, Medicare, Medi-Cal, Covered California, CalFresh, CalWORKs, General Relief, EDD unemployment benefits, IHSS, housing navigation, Section 8 applications, rental assistance, utility assistance programs including SDG&E CARE, FERA, AMP, LIHEAP, and other utility assistance programs, employment services, resume preparation, job search assistance, workforce development, college admissions, FAFSA and financial aid applications, translation and interpretation, citizenship and immigration resources, health insurance enrollment, medical appointment navigation, behavioral health referrals, senior services, transportation assistance, small business development through our Business Incubator Program, community education workshops, youth and family support services, and comprehensive case management. CCC also operated the Chaldean Community Radio Program, providing multilingual public education, health awareness, civic engagement, community announcements, interviews, and information about available resources and services to help keep the community informed and connected.
