Orange High School is a public high school which is a constituent part of the Orange Unified School District, a governmental agency authorized by the California State Constitution to fulfill its obligation of providing a program of free public education to minors. The Orange High Marine Corps JROTC is a part of the curriculum at Orange High School, and its activities are conducted under the aegis of OUSD and the United States Marine Corps. Cadets enrolled in the JROTC Program receive education credit towards their high school graduation requirements. All funding provided by the Association to the Orange High Marine Corps JROTC Program accordingly supports the educational aims of Orange High School and the Orange Unified School District, as well as the United States Marine Corps.
