The delay in filing was due to significant changes within our Board of Directors. During the filing period, several board members relocated and resigned from their positions. In addition, some board members experienced personal family obligations that limited their ability to participate in organizational matters. As a result, the organization required additional time to recruit, identify, and onboard new board members and establish the necessary governance structure to effectively oversee operations and financial reporting. These unforeseen transitions created delays in obtaining and reviewing the information necessary to complete the required filing accurately and timely. Once the new board members were in place and organizational responsibilities were reassigned, we worked diligently to gather all required documentation and submit the filing as soon as possible. Autism Life Skills Centers is committed to complying with all federal and state filing requirements. We have implemented procedures to strengthen our administrative oversight, including maintaining a compliance calendar, improving recordkeeping practices, and ensuring board leadership is aware of all filing deadlines to prevent future delays.
