Pt VI, Line 6 All firefighters of the Old Bridge Township Fire Department (Approximately 70) are automatically members of the Relief Association once accepted via application to the NJSFA. Pt VI, Line 8a Minutes of each meeting are recorded by the Secretary and subject to approval once read aloud at the following meeting. Pt VI, Line 8b Committees make their reports during the regular membership meetings which are recorded by the Secretary. Pt VI, Line 11b Form 990 is made available to the membership at the meeting following its preparation by the Treasurer. Pt VI, Line 15b All salaries are set and approved by the Representatives within the guidelines provided by the NJSFA. Pt VI, Line 19 The rules and regulations of our Association are promulgated by NJ State Statute and supplemented by guidelines provided by the NJSFA. Any interested party can ask to review these items at any time, however, during this past year, no such request was made. Pt VII, Col (F) Salaries for the Officers are set by the twenty four (24) Representatives. Pt VIII All other program service revenue ($367,858) is the gross insurance money provided by the NJSFA to operate our local Relief Association. Pt X All net assets are permanently restricted per SFAS 117 and are used for the sole purpose stated as Program Service Expenses with a deminimus amount used to cover administrative expenses. Pt XII, Line 2c The Executive Officers select the accountant who performs the compilation and prepares the tax return.
