The organization conducted multiple engagements with U.S. policymakers, including outreach to members of Congress and executive branch representatives, and the United Nations, to advance awareness of Cameroons Anglophone armed conflict, post-electoral violence, and democratic transition. Additionally, the organization participated in international advocacy efforts, including engagement with the United Nations and global stakeholders. These efforts contributed to increased visibility of Cameroon-related human rights and governance issues within U.S.-Africa 2. Capacity Building in Political and Media Advocacy The organization successfully trained 20 participants through a structured political and media advocacy program focused on U.S.-Africa policy engagement. The training included modules on legislative advocacy, strategic communication, and policy analysis. Following the program, over 60% of participants actively engaged in advocacy efforts, including direct outreach to congressional offices and participation in policy discussions on human rights and democracy in Cameroon. This initiative strengthened the pipeline of informed advocates equipped to influence policy at national and international levels. 3. Thought Leadership, Research, and Public Education Initiatives The organization coordinated the Cameroon Working Group, a multi-stakeholder think tank comprising diaspora leaders, policy experts, and civil society representatives. In 2024, the organization hosted a webinar series with over 3,000 cumulative attendees, featuring recognized thought leaders such as Agbo Balla and Kah Walla. These initiatives increased public awareness and understanding of key issues, including the Anglophone crisis, electoral reform, and democratic governance, while generating actionable insights and policy recommendations shared with stakeholders. 4. Community Engagement and Diaspora Mobilization The organization hosted a platform that facilitated collaboration between leaders of Cameroonians in the 35 diaspora groups and those in-country by establishing structured engagement. Through these efforts, the organization convened diverse stakeholder groups across multiple forums, fostering inclusive dialogue on transitional justice, democratic reform, and peacebuilding. A dedicated community engagement and dialogue team was established to sustain ongoing communication and coordination. These initiatives strengthened cross-border collaboration and contributed to the development of practical strategies for peacebuilding, credible elections, and democratic advancement in Cameroon.
