SummerTEK is our 6-week tuition free online training opportunity for high school students to explore rewarding careers and to acquire valuable technology skills in a supportive and user-friendly environment. It was held June 9 through July 18, 2025. Four online courses were offered: CCNA v7 Introduction to Computer Networks, Introduction to Cybersecurity, Introduction to Modern AI, and Entrepreneurship. 36 students earned completion certificates and some earned Cisco Networking Academy certificates for the Networking and Cybersecurity course. 62630 Summer SilverTek/Silver Saturdays is an online project-based class using Zoom to help senior citizens 50 and over learn the basics or improve their skills using laptops with MS Office applications, or smartphones. Summer SilverTek is an online is a 4-week Monday through Friday one-hour class that was held June 9 - July 3, 2025. Silver Saturday classes were held on the 2nd Saturday of each month Jan - May and Sep-Dec 2025. There were 25 participants. Program service expenses include payments to independent contractor instructors. 21885 STEAM! is an interactive, online program middle school students. Content in the past has included: 3D animation, PowerPoint projects, Minecraft Programming and Financial Literacy. In 2025, the program content was revised to enhance the current projects.
