To be eligible, the charitable organization must meet one of the categories mentioned and submit a request for grant. Financial reports and consolidation of the requests are submitted to the board on a quarterly basis. The Foundation board handles each funding request on its eligibility fit, the needs- based service attributes offered by the nonprofit, and the impact our grant has on Administration. When the grant check is sent to the nonprofit we request they provide a report on the impact the Foundation funding has had to support their needs-based programs with each or select eligibility segments (i.e. children, veterans or active duty members and their families). Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 Global Credit Union Foundation has members. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a The Foundation has members who have the power to elect members of the governing body. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The return preparer notifies the Treasurer that the Form 990 is ready for review. The Treasurer fully reviews the Form 990. Once reviewed, Form 990 is presented during board meeting for governing bodies review/approval to submit to IRS for filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The Foundation does not display its governing documents to the public. Financial statements are available to the public through the annual report, which is displayed on the Foundation's website.
