We provide online seminars to assist with distribution of educational materials and awareness activities to the Veteran and active-duty military population. Monthly meetings were planned as guided moderated networking forums and will include a support group for newly diagnosed Veteran prostate cancer patients. As a result of pressure to reduce our communications about the veteran population being of higher incidence rate of developing the cancer and the need to screen earlier at age 40 we reduced the number of monthly webinars and ceased this program in August of 2024. 120000 120000 VPCa Round Table Series - Prostate Cancer Care for our Veterans. Our initial efforts to facilitate this objective are to host four (4) "VPCa Round Table Discussions" each focusing on providing better care for the Veteran with prostate cancer. We host these sessions in the evenings just prior to the major trade events throughout the year. A roundtable discussion is an organized conversation with one moderator, several chosen speakers that bring a variety of perspectives to a subject, and an audience who may simply observe or participate by asking questions. VPCa moderator will present the topic and invite leading Researchers, Urologists, Oncologists, VA Leadership, Industry Leaders, and Veteran Prostate Cancer patients to participate. The series will be professionally captured and produced for reference and to capture the expert opinions for all to observe. We hope to hold these Round Tables at AUA (April), and ASCO (June). Roundtables date back to 1155 A.D. when King Arthur popularized the phrase with his group of advisors known as the Knights of the Round Table. Since then, everyone from world powers developing actions for global peace treaties to Fortune 500 companies debating the future of their industries have all participated. We will hold round table discussions to discuss the state of care of Veterans with Prostate Cancer. 25000 25000 VPCa Life on ADT Support Groups: Objectives of the ADT Educational Program For Veterans. The program is a pilot in person support group for Men on Androgen Deprivation Therapy and who have advanced prostate cancer. As a result our firm took the actions of canceling our annual Veterans Day awareness event onboard the USS Midway Museum in San Diego, and we did not participate in any further community screening events at venues like the American Legion National Conference, the VFW Annual Conference, the Air Force Association, or Army and Navy Annual Trade events in Washington DC. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b A complete draft of Form 990 was provided to all members of the governing body prior to filing. The governing body was given the opportunity to review the return, ask questions, and request clarifications. The final Form 990 was approved by the governing body before submission. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public upon written request. Requests may be submitted via email or mail to the organization's principal office. Copies are provided electronically at no charge. The organization's late filing was due to extraordinary circumstances affecting its principal officer during the reporting period. The principal officer was diagnosed with a recurrence of cancer and required medical treatment and recovery time. During this period, the organization also experienced significant governance transition and staff turnover, which disrupted normal administrative and financial reporting functions. As a small organization with limited administrative infrastructure, these combined events substantially impaired the organization's ability to complete and review its Form 990 within the prescribed timeframe, despite exercising ordinary business care and prudence. Upon stabilization of leadership and administrative functions, the organization promptly completed and filed the return. The organization has since implemented corrective measures, including formal assignment of compliance responsibility, engagement of external accounting support, and establishment of an annual compliance calendar to ensure timely filings in future years.
