The Organization's accounting records for the year ending December 31, 2024, were being prepared by an external accounting firm that unexpectedly ceased its services due to uncertain circumstances. Consequently, the Organization lost access to its accounting system, and the former bookkeeper did not return the records despite repeated written requests. Without these records, the Organization was unable to determine its revenue, expenses, or functional allocations for the year and could not complete an accurate financial return.
