The Board Treasurer, board members, and volunteers from the community are members of the committee. Once approved, the 990 is presented to the Executive Committee by the Treasurer. Upon approval, the document is presented to the Statewide Board for approval. Then it is submitted to the JA USA. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c Board members and staff sign an annual agreement to disclose any conflicts of interest on an annual basis to JA staff or JA USA staff. Monitoring is done by the President, Board Chair, and members of the Board Governance committee. CEO executive director top management comp Part VI line 15a JA USA provides guidelines based on similar markets for compensation for the President. Information is sent to the Board Chair and Board Governance committee. Board Chair reviews performance and sets goals bi-annually with the President and submits recommendations to the Executive Committee for the approval. General explanation attachment Junior Achievement of Alaskas mission is to educate and inspire young people to succeed in a global economy. Program materials are made available at no cost to teachers and schools, and are presented by volunteers from the business community. Junior Achievement program materials are hands-on, activity based, and emphasize the pillars of Junior Achievement: Financial Literacy, Workforce Readiness, and Entrepreneurship.
