The Treasurer of the BOD leads the committee. The committee uses the sources available for salary analysis among the following: (a) similar industries surveys, (b) the documented compensation of similar job positions in similar nonprofit organizations, (c) studies conducted by compensation experts, (d) PR Department of Labor statistics and other comparable data, (e) other comparable reference material from private foundations and for profit organizations for specific job qualifications. The evaluation is documented in a form with the terms and date of the approved compensation. The evaluation committee makes the recommendation to the BOD, with the corresponding documentation, for its review and approval. The evidence of the evaluation is filed in the employee personnel file, the minutes of meetings of the BOD's Compensation Evaluation Committee and of the BOD.
