In 2023, Treasure Valley Food Coalition partnered with Boise Farmers Market and City of Good to operate our Mobile Market that brings food into neighborhoods that are food deserts and/or lower income to provide fresh, healthy local food to more individuals. We also partnered with Boise Farmers Market to conduct Sprouts Kids Club at each Saturday market to help youth learn about health, local foods, and food systems. We supported the Boise Farmers Market's creation of a Vendor Assistance Program that supports farmers in the event of natural disasters, family illness/death, new farms/vendors who are starting out, and need help covering the cost to be at the market.
