We do this by placing refrigerators around the DC metro area and paying local restaurants to fill them with fresh meals daily. We also hand-deliver holiday meals to seniors who cannot leave their homes. During 2020 we care delivered over 30,000 meals to the elderly. We care also provided approximately 3,500 meals a week via its network of fridges installed throughout the DC area in places such as public schools, DC parks and recreation centers, museums, and libraries.
