Primarily, the AMES HIGH SPEECH & DRAMA BOOSTER CLUB provides volunteer services to the Speech & Drama programs at Ames High School. No fair market value of these volunteer services have been calculated. For reference, here is the description of the role of the booster club (taken from the Articles of Incorporation Ames High Speech & Drama Booster Club). It is the intent of Ames High Speech & Drama Booster Club to support the speech and drama programs offered at Ames High School in Ames, Iowa. Ames High Speech & Drama Booster Club consists of five or more members joined by mutual consent for the following common, nonprofit purposes: Communicate with speech and drama sponsors and staff to determine their needs and how we can best help to meet those needs. Help represent speech & drama priorities to Ames school administrators and the board. Organize volunteers as needed to support fine arts activities. Solicit, receive, manage, and disburse funds to support the fine arts programs. The booster club maintains a close and continuous working relationship with the supported organization through regular meetings and communication with the high school's speech and drama sponsors. Program needs are communicated directly to the booster club, and support is provided accordingly.
