<ExplanationTxt>| Explanation:| Equine Rescue - Specializing in Critical Care FCR accepts unwanted horses or those in need to rescue from individual s or brought to us by humane societies and law enforcement. The rescue transports these horses and provides for the nutritional medical farrier and rehabilitation needs. We often rely on foster homes to complete the rehabilitation process. Rescue horses are re-homed after rehabilitation based on our screening process to ensure that horse and home are a good match. This program is supported from the rescues general operating funds. Part of our program includes the last act of kindness and the afterlife removal. This year in August we participating in the seizure and rehabilitation of 18 horses from a trail riding business. Though we did rescue more than just these horses we concentrated all efforts through the end of 2026 on these horses. It was an enormous undertaking for such a small farm. We continued to cover the cost of horses in this case even after we found several of them foster homes. Horses were all levels of starvation and neglect with most recovering from hoof rot saddle sores and continuing with soundness issues and physical therapy. All horses were documented gaining several 100 lbs . We were thankful to help with the last act of kindness in two of the horses in this case that were suffering for some time with neurological issues and cancer. We are committed to keeping the horses in this case as long as we need to to keep them safe and healthy.</ExplanationTxt>

We have carried these horses through every part of rehabilitation. This also included giving 3 horses in this case the last act of kindness due to suffering from starvation cancer and neurological issues. Most of the horses received special corrective trims treatments and in one case surgery and hospital treatments. This has been a huge amount of money spent on podiatry supplies and costs. So far they have been with us and foster homes for 9 months. FCR fronted all the money in the rehab and upkeep of these horses. We have to rely on fundraising to help us support them. We handled all care of the 18 horses throughout the nine months this case has continued. We not only supported those in our care but also those in foster homes that needed our support. We needed to upgrade some things in order to be able to handle the husbandry items around the farm to help us care for them with such an enormous fashion. Most horses in this case were fed 5-7 times per day for many months. Our cost has increased by a huge amount as our numbers of horses exceeded our normal amount in vet bills treatments farrier costs bedding footing. Horses were offered hay products in many forms 24 hours per day. Hay products were offered as pellets bales and cubes. We completed many extensive treatments with red light and magnawave threatments. We also continued the cost of care for our own fosters in foster care.</ExplanationTxt>
