They are also available upon request. Form 990, Part XII, Line 1 The move from cash to accrual basis was to ensure the organization was adhering to generally accepted accounting principals. The accrual method also allows HYS to show a more accurate representation of finances and increased transparency to the organization's stakeholders. Accrual accounting also allows for enhanced long-term planning.
