An extension request was created, and it was believed that it had been submitted as well. It was reported to the board that a request had been submitted. It was discovered a day ago that the extension request had not been completed and accepted. Staff worked over the weekend to complete the 990. The Tri-Development Center Foundation financials are managed by one person in addition to other duties. The process is in need of revision and the Foundation board will assist with this at the next meeting. The Foundation supports Tri-Development Center, who provides supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Foundation assists with staff recognition, activities for the individuals served, and repairs to the individuals' homes and day centers. The Foundation has not missed submitting an extension or 990 by the due date in the past. It is requested that the board be given the opportunity to review and revise the process and adjust staffing as needed to meet deadlines.
