Any questions were addressed before submission. Part VI, Line 15a The governing body reviewed and approved compensation for the Executive Director and key employees. Compensation was determined using comparability data from organizations of similar size and mission and was documented contemporaneously in meeting minutes. Part VI, Line 19 The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public upon written request The late filing was due to reasonable cause and not willful neglect. During the filing period, the organization experienced limited administrative capacity and did not have a paid preparer or outside accounting support to complete the return on schedule. In addition, the organization experienced significant growth in revenue, making this years Form 990 more complex and requiring additional time to complete year-end financial reconciliation and ensure the return was prepared accurately. As soon as the organization identified the delay, we took immediate corrective action by completing the required financial review and filing the Form 990 as promptly as possible. We are committed to remaining in full compliance with IRS filing requirements moving forward. To prevent future late filings, the organization has implemented the following steps: Established an annual compliance calendar with key deadlines for IRS filings Assigned filing responsibility to designated leadership and administrative support Improved recordkeeping and monthly reconciliation to enable timely year-end closing Planned earlier preparation of the annual return to ensure it is filed on time We respectfully request that the IRS waive any late filing penalties based on reasonable cause.
