Utilized grant based funds to support the training of over 200 individuals from 9 Counties, consisting of 2 Cohorts with training from Ali Hearn Coaching and Consulting. The NYS Community ARCH seeks to work with schools that are implementing the nationally recognized Community Schools strategy with an emphasis on the Six Key Community practices. As long as Districts are located in NYS and requests align with the Community Schools strategy and there is a designee to coordinate the effort, the NYS Community ARCH has been able to receive and support requests. As the organization grown and demand for supports increases then a system for issuing annual Requests for Assistance will be developed. Part IV, Section A, Line 6 The NYS Community ARCH paid expenses for the hosting of ReStore NY. The expenses were paid for hotel and meals as the host location for trainings to occur. Participants from 9 counties and across school and community organizations were invited to attend at no cost. Part IV, Section D, Line 2 We were unaware of the requirement to provide written notification and we will comply with this requirement immediately RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED Part III, Line 2 The NYS Community ARCH successfully applied to be a partner on two projects. Both are intended to address capacity building for staff working within a k-12 setting. One was focused on response to behavioral infractions resulting in disciplinary response. The funds were used to train teams in Restorative Practices as part of the ReStore NY grassroots effort. The second was an application to the TOW Foundation to build a career-technical education pipeline for human service professions (School Counselors, Social Workers, School Psychologists). Part VI, Line 1a The Executive Director resigned unexpectedly on December 3, 2025. Shawn Forster was installed as the acting Executive Director until a replacement can be determined. Shawn is a founding member of the organization, serves as an officer in the secretary role. This position is unpaid, there is no compensation offered past or present. Part VI, Line 12c The board and officers are all volunteer, there are no individuals that receive paid compensation to be part of the work. The organization is currently in development of a Whistleblower policy and a document retention and destruction policy. These are in DRAFT form and will be presented to the Board at the annual meeting. Part VI, Line 19 Governing Documents have been available upon request, as the organization was new and during 2022-2024 was developing slowly. In late 2025 the organization has begun to grow, as two significant projects were funded.The organization will be updating the website to add governing documents. Part IX, Line 11g The NYS Community ARCH is a nimble organization run by members of the Board. While in operation since 2022, the organization has grown slowly and organically. Part XII, Line 2c The organization has interviewed bookkeepers and plans to hire an accounting firm for the 2026 tax filing
