We track programming funding through use of classes and a financial report is presented to the Board of Directors at Regular Board meetings. Form 990, Part III, Line 2 Each year our programming is updated to reflect the desires of our membership. However, the process for our high quality programming stays the same. We change the content, presenter, and venue based on the desires and requests of our members. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 The Western Trail Society has several membership tiers. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a Each membership has one vote to elect members of the Board of Directors. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Each member of the Board of Directors is emailed a copy of the 990 for review. At a Board meeting, the 990 is reviewed by the quorum and is changed if needed. The corrected copy is emailed to the Board members for review and after approval is submitted to the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 We do not compensate our officers. This is reviewed occasionally and it is analyzed periodically by outside sources for accuracy.
