Also, each awardee signs an agreement that they will use their award funds for direct college costs, before the checks are issued. C, Line 11b and 19, the completed 990 file was reviewed by the Audit Committee on March 24, 2026, and then made electronically available to the complete Board for their review. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8a Quarterly Board Meetings were held where any actions were documented. Minutes of those meetings were validated/agreed to at the successive meetings. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8b Committees were formed for the Audit, and for (3) three teams of application reviewers. The results of those committees were validated either by emailed concurrences of the Board or at the next Board Meeting (as applicable). Additionally, they received a draft version to review before our April Board Meeting. C, Lines 18 & 19 - Washington State's policy is that Charities make their Financial and Governing Documents available upon request. The public can also access our Washington State annual filings on the State Secretary's Charities & Corporations website. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Form990, Part VI, Sect. C, Line 19 - We previously created a Board-approved set of governing documents that that the current Board can access via their log-in's to their webpage on our website. These documents are available to the State of Washington who makes them available to the public. Additionally, the Financial documents are used to create and submit required reports to the State, who also make these available to the public. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 20 Besides the listed Secretary (for general documents), the Treasurer - Pamela Chelgren-Koterba - can be contacted at 360-647-9715 for financial records. Form 990, Part VIII, Line 1f 24 donors contributed to the total. SAME Seattle Post contributed 30,000. We (from our investment account) contributed 20,000. John Callahan contributed 6,000. The remainder amounts were less Thant 5,000. The Audit Committee (2 Board members) annually conducts an Audit where the 990 form is also reviewed (on March 24, 2026). Thence the Board approves both at the next Quarterly Meeting. The records are available to the Board both on the Board's webpage of our website and also directly from the Treasurer.
