Also in attendance is the head of the board of trustees of the library. In addition, the head librarian is provided with access to all board minutes. "Membership" requires no duties or governance responsibilities or rights, and doesn't provide any benefits other than the monthly newsletter. The one exception is that "Angel Investors" (Annual contribution of more than $1,000) are given the courtesy by the board of director of being consulted for ideas regarding special projects for the library theat the Friends may elect to fund in whole or in part. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8b Committee deliberqtions are not ecessarily independently documented. however, the decisions of a committee and rthe reasons for such are pre4sented to the board and/or executive committee, where the deliberations and decsions are documented Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The return is reviewed and approved by the finance committee (Which is also the management committee) . A draft is made available to any member and/or member of the public who wishes to review it Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Minutes and governing documents are held in the library offices, where they are available on request by any member of the public. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 Prior period adjustment Return was extended from it's November 15, filing deadline (June 30 year end) and that extension was approved by the IRS. As such, it is being submitted timely. The FSPL is a 100% volunteer organization, and as such occasionally requires extensions.
