The Foundation solely raises the necessary funds to support the mission of Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Inc., its programs and services that are not convered by a reimbursement source. Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, Inc. has analyzed the tax positions taken and has concluded that as of September 30, 2024, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements. Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, Inc. is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions. However, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, Inc. believes it is not subject to income tax examinations for years prior to 2021.
