This includes hiring a second coach and signing up a number of athletes who have the goal of reaching the World Cup or Olympics. Athletes are partially reimbursed for their expenses, and the coach is paid a salary. The professional athletes have run clinics for skiers in the club of all ages (Bill Coach League - elementary and middle school, Junior skiers, College skiers and Master Skiers). The semi-pro team has increased the level of donations for the 2024-2025 year as it is funded entirely from donations and fundraising events rather than program fees for the rest of the club. (Schedule A, line 1). While this is a new division to the Mansfield Nordic club, it is an addition supporting our mission. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The 990 will be emailed to the finance committee (in particular) and the entire board of directors for review before transmitting to the IRS. The BOD will have a chance to review and respond, the treasurer will respond to all responses, but formal approval will not be required as the responsibility for the 990 is delegated to the treasurer. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Compensation is reviewed by the full board of directors at a scheduled meeting and is subject to a vote by the entire board of directors.
