Children must graduate from any high school. The student must complete a form with name and address and educational goals after high school. The students are approved if one or both parents are current members. The association also donates to sober grad to provide assistance to students that are graduating to take an end of year trip. Part III Line 1 Column (b) Scholarships are a set amount of 5000 dollars that number is divided by the number of students that graduate and meet the requirements for the scholarship. Each scholarship was under just under 300 dollars with 17 graduating students. The amounts were rounded up to 300 for each student. Part VI, Line 6 The teachers association is made up of a governing body president vice president second vice president sectary and treasurer. The governing body makes decision of running the association and bargaining on wages benefits and working conditions. Each member which includes the governing body votes on major decisions such as wages benefits and working conditions. The governing body bargains on a yearly contract and the members votes to accept the contract. The members also vote if they do not accept the new contract to strike. The members have these rights equal rights to participate in union activities freedom of speech and assembly voice in setting rates of dues fees and assessments protection of the right to sue safeguards against improper discipline. The governing body can make changes to dues and structure changes the members are represented by their reps which vote on those changes. Part VI, Line 7a Members that decide to run for a position on the governing body those members must have a majority votes from the rest of the membership. They run a campaign and for time members are allowed to vote to elect those running for the position on the governing body such as president vice president second vice president secretary and treasurer. Part VI, Line 7b Members vote on who is on the governing body and vote to approve contracts that the governing body has negotiated. Those reps then vote on the compensation on behalf of their school sites members.
