In this regard, NCF has public support well in excess of 10%. For FYE June 30, 2025, public support totaled 21.81% and for FYE June 30, 2024, public support was 21.97%. The percentage of public support is slightly less than 33-1/3% because NCF receives a higher percentage of its total support from investment income. However, the funds that NCF has invested came primarily from the sale of property that was originally acquired through donations from the general public. In addition, NCF receives support from a number of persons and not just from a few donors. For FYE June 30, 2025, NCF received a total of 658 donations from 181 different donors. Monthly appeal letters go out to 350-675 donors throughout the United States and NCF is regularly attempting to attract new donors through its website and appeals. NCF also has a governing body representative of the broad interests of the public. Further, NCF has many resources available to benefit the general public, including seminars and training, counseling and referrals, as well as a number of publications.
