Our organization was formed in 2023, and it was our first filing. An outside accounting firm completed our 2023 tax filing. In an effort to contain costs, the accounting firm's services were not retained for tax preparation in 2024. Our organization incorrectly thought we had until December 15th to file the 990. A different accounting firm was hired to complete the organization's 2024 audit. Those financial statements were used to compile this report, which is when we realized we were late. Our company calendar has been updated to ensure this does not happen again.
