Approximately 325 children were served through a portfolio of 5 resident choirs and Vivo program at 5 locations. Finally, CYC manages the Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) Honor Choir program, an annual program that typically consists of 80+ CPS students, from 23+ different CPS schools. This free opportunity has CPS students combine forces with and performing alongside the CYC award-winning Bel Canto Choir in concert. SingFest (formerly Youth Honor Choir) served 17 students and gave them an opportunity to work with a guest conductor and our Artistic Director along with being mentored by older resident choir members. 85309 56873 Cincinnati Choral Academy - A free, during and after-school program offering comprehensive music literacy and choral education to 160+ Cincinnati Public School (CPS) students in grades 3-6. These students rehearse twice per week for two-hour sessions. Cincinnati Choral Academy is currently in-residence at 8 CPS Schools, with student attendance numbers on the rise. 82310 2100 111008 Queen City Choir Festival - QCF made a successful comeback in FY25 with 6 youth choirs from across the country hosted by CYC Con Brio choir for a three day festival held at the University of Cincinnati and area venues. QCF features choral education, performances and activities around the Greater Cincinnati area. 11317 225 8178 Singabration Summer Festival Program - Youth participate in a week of choral music education and performance at a day camp festival held at the University of Cincinnati - College Conservancy of Music with an opportunity to learn from prominent clinicians and develop camaraderie with peers from the community. CYC welcomed 36 youth to the FY25 camp with mentoring and support from a number of Bel Canto choir members.
