Part VI Line 11b A complete copy of Form 990 was provided to all members of the governing body prior to filing. The Executive Director prepared the return with input from the Treasurer, and the draft was reviewed by the Finance Committee before distribution to the full board. Board members were given the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback prior to final submission. Our organization respectfully requests relief and a 6-month extension of time to file Form 990 for the year ending December 31, 2024. Our long-time CPA, who prepared and filed our returns each year, experienced a family crisis in the spring of 2025 when his wife became critically ill and subsequently passed away. During this period, we were already past the filing deadline but expected that he would be able to file our return late on our behalf. Tragically, two months later our CPA also passed away. This unexpected loss left our organization without professional accounting support during our busiest season and caused unavoidable delays in preparing our return. We have since secured assistance and are committed to bringing our filings current. We respectfully request an extension until October 15, 2025, by which time our Form 990 will be filed. Thank you for your consideration and understanding of these extraordinary circumstances.
